Lately, though, I miss just blogging. Typing. Not for readers, not for followers, not for anyone. Just writing for me.
I’m much too slow to be part of the day’s internet chatter. More reflective than reactive, I find that once I’ve formulated a response to a Big Idea, everyone else has moved on. It’s already hard to write, period. To write for others is harder.
But the strange comfort a Post-it brings: it’s nice to come upon a note I’ve written for myself that I knew I would need again. As if I continue to evolve as a writer, yet face the same challenges over and over.
